Striped Bass – Bluefish – Blackfish – Porgies – Black Sea Bass

Our close proximity to the fishing grounds (average 15 minutes travel time),  combined with the calmest waters found in New England are what makes Clinton CT, Long Island Sound’s #1 fishing destination!

Boats from Eastern CT, Western CT and New York travel to fish our waters every single day!

We are very fortunate to have these famed fishing grounds right in our own back yard!  They include Six-Mile Reef, South West Reef, Long Sand Shoal and East Rip – just to name a few.  These reefs, rips and rock piles hold some of the largest striped bass in the world!  It was just one mile from our dock that angler Greg Myerson landed the world record striped bass, pulling the scale down to a whopping 81.88 pounds!

With very little travel time, we are able to focus on all species Long Island Sound has to offer with just a 5 hour trip.  All trips are mixed species trips with a focus on Striped Bass and Bluefish for approximately half the trip. We then target our seasonal Black Sea Bass, Porgies and Blackfish the remaining half of the trip. If you have a specific target species in mind, be sure to look at our Fishing Season page to know when that fish typically migrates into our area.

We are very proud that 75% of our business is repeat customers!
