CT Fishing Report 5/8/18
Spring maintenance is just about wrapped up!
After a winter that seemed to never end, it’s hard to believe that in only a week and a half and we’ll be fishing! What’s even sweeter is the updated black sea bass regulations that were just passed over the weekend. Our D.E.E.P. officials worked very hard to make this happen so be sure to thank them when you see them. They could have taken the easy way out and left us with the excessively restrictive regs, but they did not. They worked together with the other states, went to Virginia and negotiated a realistic set of regulations for us. Bravo! The water temp is warming quickly, this should be a great year and we are really looking forward to getting started!

Connecticut Fishing Report 4/2/18
This Friday April 6th through Sunday April 8th Rock and Roll Charters will be at the Northeast Fishing and Hunting Show at the Hartford Convention Center. -Booth 217. We will be booking spring Striper and Sea Bass trips and presenting seminars giving tips on catching fish in Long Island Sound. We will cover everything from moon phases to trolling techniques. Seminar times are Friday @ 3:00 P.M., Saturday @ 4:00 P.M. & Sunday @ 3:00 P.M. Hope to see you there!
